I was looking for a small inexpensive blu-ray player that I could mount behind a flat screen TV on a wall. I tried quite a few but this is only one that actually works in the verticle position. You will need to hold the DVD in place with your fingers as the tray retracts but once it's in the disc plays perfectly. Other players won't play the disc unless the unit is placed horizontally.

My old Sony DVD died and I was looking for an upgrade to play the Blu Ray discs I now buy. Its tiny, light weight and honestly looks cheap. But, The output of this little guy has been impressive. Since I lost the huge plasma in the divorce, I had buy something cheap. I got a 31" SANSUI and these 2 work together to make a wonderful picture on Blu Ray as well as DVD. It is a smart player too, but I have a ROKU for that so I don't use it on the player. I did make sure it worked but that's about all I did with it.

My Funai portable Blu-ray/DVD player was getting old and not playing as well as it used to. So I started shopping around for a new one. And here was what I found... and for a good price. This player works well and I recommend it. LG is a good brand. Also, I had a frustrating experience with the episode mixup on Brady Bunch, Season 3 on Amazon Prime. So I decided to add the Season 3 DVD disc set to my purchase and both came two days later and earlier than the delivery time I was expecting. so far all the episodes are showing perfectly with no mix-ups and very good video quality than on Prime! I am very happy with this purchase!
