From the very beginning, I knew this herb kit would become part of my daily routine. The wooden box is beautiful and everything comes ready to start without any hassle. Planting was easy and enjoyable, and watching the herbs begin to grow has been truly satisfying.I know I’ll enjoy caring for them in the weeks ahead and using fresh herbs in my cooking. It’s both practical and decorative, with great quality in every detail. A purchase I’ll continue to enjoy and highly recommend.

This was my first attempt at growing stuff because my old place didn't let us grow anything. Decided to give this a whirl since I moved. The kit is very cute and has a lot of tools. However those same tools managed to rust without much water sitting on it. The bottom hole that drains the water also rusted. I don't know why you would put metal there.The seeds took quite a long time to sprout after following the instructions. I had the most success just tossing the seeds into the provided dirt. I didn't know dirt was so important until I looked up a bunch of info. I guess this type of dirt isn't terrible but will stunt the growth of the seeds.You also need to water it more than just spraying it like it suggests. Most recommend putting enough water until it drains out the bottom. However only water it if it is starting to dry about an inch under because you don't want to over water it.It took roughly 26 days for my sprouts to grow to the size I have currently. Apparently that's quite long for the size after taking them to a nursery to ask. My thyme and rosemary didn't make it.Although the kit basically sets you up for failure, it was also a good learning experience. If you want to get into gardening a bit more seriously and actually want to see some amount of growth, I suggest researching and getting well draining containers, a good soil mix that allows for air and drainage and maybe a decent grow light if your place doesn't have a lot of sun or has far too much.I will be trying to grow the last three in a mini greenhouse to see if I can still make them thrive. These were so easy to plant. It also comes with helpful instructions for the best outcome, but I honestly did not follow them and my plants still bloomed sithout issue. I have now moved them to bigger pots and I love having fresh herbs to use on my dishes!

It's a great gift for my mom. She so happy with it. It looks great. The seed sprouted fast. It comes with all the things need to set up in home Herb. It looks great in the kitchen. Soil and the bags was easy to work with.

Giving it 4 stars because it is cute and it was fun to plant with my 10 year old grandson. Took off one star because 3 out of 5 of the herbs did not sprout. Bought my own seeds and replanted them today.

This was so cute and had so much potential, but the instructions were way too detailed and said to plant only 3-4 seeds. Those didn’t grow, I had to throw in more and when they finally sprouted, there were tiny bugs all over the mint. I’m so sad these didn’t work out, but that’s on me. The instructions are why I’m leaving a lower review- was way too much when I got another set that grew great (threw a pack of seeds in soil🤣)
