I bought this cam for class. Since I have virtual class, and need to do video classes, I had to buy a webcam. I wasn't needing to buy any fancy ultra high definition webcam or anything like that. Just something affordable, that looked good to at least capture me well. This caught my attention as it had an already included light. It worked perfectly! The quality of the camera was really amazing, as I mentioned before, wasn't looking for something over the top. Of course the product was plug and play. Just had to go to my settings to see Eid ti worked properly, of course this is for my sake. Definitely worth the price, if I ever need to get another one or recommended a webcam for someone, definitely going to recommend this one.

Camera works but who cares. I looked at a bunch of different web cams with a privacy cover as my main consideration. This had good reviews and stated it comes with a privacy cover. When I opened the package, I thought the company forgot to put it in the packaging. Then I realized - the "privacy cover" is a small, sticker like piece that has an oval frame with a tiny insert that slides back and forth inside the frame to create an open and closed position. You stick them on over the camera lens so that the insert covers the camera lens when "closed" and doesnt when "open" First - these stickers are so tiny that if they would have fallen out of the box when I opened it, I never would have found them in the carpet. Next - the insert isnt snug in the little rubber frame so it slides freely back and forth which means if its not perfectly level, the cover will slide to the lowest position - so it will always be open or always be closed. The camera doesnt have a traditional "clip" to clip on a surface - its has an angled frame that it is mounted to that sits on whatever surface you put it on - not secured to it. So you cant even counter the privacy cover by turning the camera down because its not secured to the surface so you have to pick it up, move the camera and then try to position it back on the monitor or wherever you have it sitting. If it wasnt a pain to send it back, I would have sent it back for sure.

The media could not be loaded. Okay I got this for if I ever go into streaming, or just to use for my desktop, I just wanted these two factors, it’s clear and captures detail on my face, and when it’s nighttime the ring light lights up my face, It does an amazing job of capturing detail on my face, sadly it picked up small pimples I had but not a very audible look on it, it wasn’t blurry I moved it around it looked pretty good, okay the only Con I would say this has is when you turn on the ring light, there is a glare on the corners of your screen/camera but I mean it’s a bright light RIGHT on the camera and it’s not a game killer, it still captures amazing detail on my face in a pitch black room with it but with the cost of a small glare in the corner, overall you CANNOT beat this price oh another con is definitely the microphone, I mean what do u really expect from a $20 webcam. Or a webcam in general.

Camera is easy to set up and works well. Picture quality is good. Cable length is adequate. The light is adjustable but all levels are cold light. Would be nice if that was also adjustable. The privacy cover is utterly useless, it obscures part of the lens an falls apart easily. This is peculiar and unexpected considering that this could be easily corrected by the manufacturer.

The media could not be loaded. The camera quality is great for the price you’re paying for. The only thing is truly that ring of light that affects the image. People have asked if I had a vignette filter and I’ve had to explain it’s a light around the camera lens. Because of this, I end up not using the light as often even tho I need it since it tends to be dark in the room I’m in. I will again emphasize that the image quality is a lot better than the camera that comes built in my laptop. If you need something quick and cheap, this is a good option till you can upgrade. I like that it’s not adhesive so you don’t have to deal with stickiness, surprisingly it latches onto the computer very well.
