I have tried at least 2 other panels before resorting to this. The earlier ones were made by popular electrical component brands and they all failed with proper fitting.This panel on the other hand is solid built with metal and little extra stronger and heavier than I would have wanted. While I didn't really need something this strong, I am sure it will live for decades. The keystone patches fit neat. I used it for connecting both RJ45 and USB.

I bought a few sizes of these patch panels and have started using them all over the place in my work. It is difficult to find DIN rail mountable enclosed patch panels like these that are suitable for an industrial environment. The DIN rail mounts that come with them are the cheap kind (understandable since not everyone would use them). If that is your plan, buy some other DIN mounts with the spring loaded catch and retrofit them onto these panels. I’ll definitely be buying more of these in the future.

I'm new to patch panels but wanted a place to terminate the 6 runs of ethernet I did throughout my home without relying solely on the RJ45 connections. This is the perfect little hub for that. It's built well, mountable, and has clamps for the incoming cables to relieve any tension. After a long weekend of crawling around in the attic, it was nice to have a quality box to plug everything into and make it feel legit.

This unit is made of metal, surprisingly heavy, and well-constructed. It looks good, keystones fit into it very nicely and I like that the box is closed with screws, not tabs.

Found just what I needed at reasonable price, quality materials, nice! We needed to run a bundle of 5 CAT7A solid core shielded runs from a core rack to several locations, this box was exactly what was needed to avoid and entire 1U rack panel in a location that space challenged. Easy to use and install, completely functional for the task. Cannot believe the quality of the box. One small minor thing, the locking brackets that hold the cable opposite the keystones bracket, seem a bit light weight, they are made out, maybe ABS, so seem fragile, but once locked into place, work well, I just would not try to force them too tight, or try to make them handle a cable too great in diameter. They handled the CAT7A solid core fine, just fix. Might not fit for CAT8.

Solid piece of equipment, sturdy. No documentation included, so I have no idea what the two silver clips do or how to use them. Keystones click in well and are hard to get out again, which is good if you don't make mistakes. I received 2 of these, as the first one didn't have the grounding screw or wire. The second didn't have the wire, but I kept it.

This was exactly what I needed to set up a USB "hub" on my desk and was built solid as a tank. The problem was it was too solid. It comes without directions and it took me quite a while to figure out how to get the darned thing open. I hate forcing anything—that's how things get broken—but I finally had to pry it with tools once I finally figured out how to open it. Even some simple directions with pictures only would have made it easier.The little hardware packet has a couple of metal clips in it beside some screws and anchors. What on Earth are they for? Also, reviewer photos shows this coming with a ground wire; I didn't get one and had no idea what turns out to be a ground screw was for.
