Crazy bright flash that last forlong photoshoots and burst photos. I personally use TTL for portraiture and so far it has been an easy and effective flash in both night and evening day. I use it mainly as a fill flash though it’s versatility means I can use it with a compatible master flash and slave it on the side with a color filter for creative shots.

Godox V1 with Sony A7R III

This Godox V1 flash is very good. Paired with a Sony A7R III it is easy to use effectively. Plus has a modeling feature which is neat. As well has a strobe feature for creating great effects.

Comes with updated metal shoe installed

I was using an older off brand flash for a while, decided to upgrade especially for weddings, best decision ever. This flash is fantastic, photos look great for indoor weddings. The batteries do die fairly quick so I’d recommend having extra on hand if you’re working a long reception. I use two Sony A7iii as my set up with the flash and it’s great.

Great light with easy controls. Coupled with the Godox flash trigger, it works well in all lighting requirements. The battery lasts quite long, I’ve never got close to running out. A solid buy.

I bought this to replace my trusty Canon 430exII which suddenly shorted out and overheated after over 10 years of reliable flash use. Despite the Godox being much larger and thus more difficult to find a space in my bag to house it, I am appreciating it's power and flexibility. I'm not sure the round head makes a big difference in the "look" associated from an on camera flash yet as I have not used if for anything but macro photography, and one shot at full power in the dark to get a photo of a screech owl. But so far it does seem to be "better" than the rectangular hot spots that can result from the "normal" on camera flash shape. I also appreciate the modeling light very much. I have found that to be quite handy when trying to get photos of insects/spiders/etc. in the dark! I wasn't sure the rechargeable battery would be an advantage, but so far it's holding up very well, but I have not pushed it so far that I have discharged to the point of needing an immediate recharge yet.

Schon ziemlich tolles Teil

Ich arbeite normal nur mit LED Dauerlicht im Studio. Ich wollte aber einen Blitz haben der eben auch mal wirklich richtig krasse harte Schatten kann. Packt man einen Schirm davor dann geht es auch deutlich softer.Leistung: Über den Akku bin ich mehr als begeistert. Einmal voll geladen und ich habe ihn schon für 3 Shootings benutzt mit ca. 800 Aufnahmen und der Akku stand nicht einmal bei 50%Die Qualität des Blitze ist unfassbar gut und das sogar in Mischlicht Verhältnissen zu meinen Profi LED Dauerlichtern.Transport und Gewicht ist auch super angenehm.Alles in allem ein tolles Produkt.
