They are 14K gold-plated over copper and look like they could be pure gold, but without the worry of the string breaking and losing something of great value when you are out. The card they come on has a sweet message, but if mine breaks, I will make the wish and then use the loose beads in my own jewelry-making. Making these bracelets a real bargain for around seven dollars.FYI: My wrists are about 6 inches around, and the fit is a little loose. If your wrist is over 7 inches around, the cord will start to stretch.

This bracelet is such a ridiculous lie.Looks nothing like the ad photo. I doubt it would even fit a 5 year old.You can hardly see the beads and the cross. Should be sold in the children's toys. Maybe you should start a dollar section and put this in it. I'm done with Amazon jewelry,so not worth it.
