This is a very cute gold necklace. It is delicate and perfect for me because I like my jewelry a little subdued.The chain is adjustable which is really nice. The length is perfect. It did not slide so that you could see the clasp over time which is something that bothers me on other necklaces.I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. The J does not hang straight, but that is seen in the product photos. If that doesn't bother you, then this is perfect.Time will tell if the gold starts to wear off as the product is promoted as stainless steel.

The listing says 14k gold plated but then the package states stainless steel so it's not clear what it actually is. I think a young girl might like it but as a mature woman, I would be less than thrilled to get this as a gift from my SO
