Good computer. Silent. Sometimes it refuses to start. After a google search, it turns out that you have to complete discharge the system from time to time to get it going. I don't like all the lights on so I was able to turn them off via the included app. Only left the logo on so that I know the machine is on. Fast enough but not "wow" fast. It takes quite a bit to start (2 minutes) but after that it is fine. I have not played many games but the few I have played (Ghost of Tsushima, portal 2, World of tanks Blitz) played well on high settings. Wireless network card works fine.

Alienware isn't usually a good value proposition but this was a decent prebuilt for the money. Still running fine after a few weeks, no issues on boot. Windows 11 is bad but after a few community-driven fixes it's serviceable now. Alienware Command Center allows games to change the lighting and gives you control of fan speed and performance, in game overlays, etc. The ACC is not without bugs but seems to work well enough that I'm not complaining about the addition. The RTX 5080 is performing as expected, the latest DLSS and frame generation is...admittedly one of the few AI implementations I can stand. Cyberpunk 2077 jumped from 120fps to over 500fps and I can't really tell any difference outside of some slight mouse input delay that affected aiming but as Cyberpunk isn't an aim heavy game you don't need laser precision and you can get used to the delay after a while anyway. Packaging was impressive, custom foam cutouts fully surrounding the case to prevent any damage and it arrived in one piece. The included mouse + keyboard are bottom barrel garbage they always include but they'll get chucked in a cabinet for emergency/backup use. Ports are plenty and this is a rather quiet system, I have no complaints really other than the price but I only upgrade every 5 years roughly. I could have possibly built this myself for cheaper but GPU and RAM prices are kind of insane once again. I'm still not a big fan of Dell but this hasn't been a bad experience thus far.

I was genuinely expecting this to be a bad experience. But the PC arrived overnight, early in the morning. There were damages to the packaging (I once worked as a Warehouse Manager, so I recognized fork holes immediately) so at some point, this box was damaged in a warehouse, probably while on a pallet of six other computers. But... the internal padding protected the PC itself.Once I got it opened, and plugged it. It booted right up, and within 20 minutes I was playing games. Incredibly easy, even 2 months later, the PC is running smooth, playing all the games I could want it to on the maximum graphic settings, very quiet and low temp, and has had absolutely no issues hardware wise.Of course, I had to adjust to the new OS because my old PC was 7 years old, so there were some settings I had to look up and that caused a little bit of annoyance at first (computer put itself to sleep after only a few minutes of me being AFK, and when I try to put it to sleep, my Razer mouse and Keyboard kept waking it up randomly, but I figured out the settings and now it all works great.)

Fail from Amazon Dell And Intel...

The PC itself is not the issue. The problem is that Intel is offering a software promotion for qualifying processors, yet Amazon is not listed as a supported vendor. Because of this, Intel is refusing to provide a redemption key for the software, despite the fact that the processor I purchased qualifies for the promotion.I find this situation misleading. The product was purchased through Amazon, sold as a Dell system, and Dell is providing the warranty. I paid over $3,000 for this PC, which includes a qualifying Intel processor. I contacted all three parties involved—Amazon, Dell, and Intel—and received conflicting responses. Amazon states that there is no such promotion. Dell and Intel both indicate that it is Amazon’s responsibility to provide the redemption key.What I do not understand is this: if Amazon is selling a Dell product, and Dell is supplying and warranting the system, then this is effectively a Dell-configured system using an Intel processor. From a customer’s perspective, the processor is part of the Dell product, not something Amazon independently modifies or supplies. The promotion is tied to the processor model, not the retailer.It feels unfair and somewhat deceptive that a qualifying product is sold without access to a promotion that should accompany it, especially when no party is willing to take responsibility. This is not a matter of financial loss to Dell or Intel, but rather honoring a promotion associated with the processor that was purchased.

For me, the price for this rig was quite enormous. That said, it's the most amazing machine I've ever used. I'm a big MS Flight Simulator guy, and this rig is perfect for it.Fast, whisper quiet, smooth, and packed with power.I 100% recommend this machine. Up until now, I had no idea computers could be this efficient and lightning fast.Get it. It's seriously worth the bigger price tag.

Looks great and runs great. Nice and quiet. Operates smooth. Glad I caught the sale! I do wish I had some space for storage as I do a lot of video recording but that’s the only thing that I’d change for my personal use.

After a very disappointing Black Friday purchase from another manufacturer of “gaming PCs “, I refunded, bit the bullet and went with this unit. And it succeeded all of my expectations. There’s something to be said for a machine that just works out of the box doesn’t require any tinkering inside the case to remove foam packing and has Windows (with minimal bloatware) mostly set up for you. Windows 11 and all of its quirks and flaws is another issue entirely, but that’s not related to the hardware which performs as you would expect from a machine of this calibre and specs.The footprint is also smaller than your usual towers, which means you can fit it next to a TV without it looking completely ridiculous. It’s not quite an MATX but it’s not quite a full-size tower either.Knock on wood there are no issues later but for now I am very happy with my purchase.
