GPS works fine. However, as soon as I received it, I did a map update and took off for a 5600 mile trip around the country. Never got a traffic alert, while Waze kept me constantly updated on traffic issues. So, it’s a nice large, clear display, but forget getting traffic alerts.

I love this GPS great size and everything. Now it has restarted while I was counting on it to get me someone not for sure why it has done this, but it has twice so far. I thought I was going to have to pull over since I didn't know where I was going so I need it to stay on so far so good.

Looks brand new and works perfectly. Just know that you will need a 17mm to 22mm adapter for the ball mount for most other mounts. I have been using Garmin's for about 20 years and love this unit. Great features, especially the trip planner. You can put in multiple stops and have the unit organize them for best route.

Really Good GPS

This large screen 8 inch Garmin GPS is popular for a reason. It's great. And unlike pairing your phone with the car's dashboard screen it doesn't use a ton of expensive cell phone data to make it work. It gets some of the more important alerts anyway direct from the satellite and tells you if there are known red light photo cameras in use at affected intersections. It keeps track of trip data and speed limits and does plenty of other things. It has a large very easy to read colorful screen and the buttons and fields to load it are easy to see and use. In 6000 miles from 88 degrees to freezing the window suction is still holding. I'm happy.
