I knew I was ordering a new tool that would help me clone some drives and transfer data. However, expectations were far exceeded. This item feels built well and ALL 4 drive ports can be used at once with indicator lights. It is fast and effectively plug and play. You need one port for power, which I typically don't like but with how much this can do at once, it's definitely recommended. And besides that a single USB C handles all 4 connections.If I were to want to try something slightly different, it would be to have the sata ports be 90 degree upward so the footprint is smaller but as is before any drives this thing is about the size of your average computer mouse which is super nice! Even with drives, it's not that much bigger. Think the size of 3 2.5 inch HDD horizontal side by side.I used this to do a few clones and it went flawlessly.I do kind of wish for this cost it could do software-less cloning but there are many free software clones out there that I am not entirely bothered by this.

Needed to update my storage reader since my old one was incompatible with M2. This device makes for a great replacement. Although I do lose the ability to read IDE, and sometimes come across a need for that, but I have a IDE to SATA adapter so I can use that for those much older drives. Now I need a Floppy disk solution, haha! Anyhow, this works pretty well. The speeds are close to advertised, but as with most things, I didn't expect it to truly reach it, but its plenty fast enough for my needs to data backup and formatting. Connection is easy, with either USB-C or Thunderbolt. It's much, much smaller than my old reader, so it takes up less space which is very nice. It can be powered with USB-C, but for best performance, best to power it with the included A/C Adapter. USB-C has been good for me though, and very convenient. Overall, works great, and solves my M.2 drive issue. Plus, it has 2 ports so clone driving is simple. I haven't tried cloning, like, 1 SSD to 2 M.2 at the same time, but worth a shot with the right software. I must say, price is a bit of a hit since there are plenty of devices like this around, but, with a decent sale, this one is a must if you need it.
