I had a good review for this when I first bought in Jan 23 - worked as advertised. But after 4 months ports 3 and 4 stopped providing power. In month 5 ports 1 and 2 quit as well. Only the second bank (ports 5-8) are still working. There are no fuses to replace if that was the problem.

Unit has been installed now for one week... running without issue however be prepared, the unit I'm running has a loud cooling fan.

Using this to power 5 Grandstream VoIP phones and 2 Ubiquiti Unfi Access Points. Powered each device right up.Seems to be well made. Time will tell how reliable it is, but after 1+ months of use, no issues so far.

I've been running this in my rack for about 4 months now. It's powering three TP Link EAP655 WiFi 6 APs, a Phillips Hue hub, a Zigbee coordinator, a Z-wave+ hub, a 433 MHz Ethernet bridge, and a Raspberry Pi 4B+. To get a switch with the same capabilities integrated would have cost me an extra $300, whereas this cost me only $100 and one unit of rack space. It is also cheaper than buying individual injectors for each device, not to mention offering neater wiring.

This is great if you want to add PoE devices but not change out your switches. This is an 8 port injector. Data in, data/PoE out. Works well and can be rack mounted.If you don't know what a midspan or an injector is - do NOT buy this thinking it's a PoE switch.This is NOT a switch. Perfect for adding cameras, phones etc without having 8 injectors to power. Much cleaner setup with this.
