A 128 MB memory stick is a little on the small side, capacity wise but that's the largest stick my Sony camera would take. It work like it's supposed to and has a little write protect switch on it too. I probably should buy a new camera. I could get over twice the performance for half the money I paid for the camera I have now, but I'm cheap, so I'll wait until the old one breaks!

Sony has a monopoly when it comes to media to be used with their cameras because they do not accept other card formats. It usually costs at least 25% more per megabyte than other more universal formats - like SD cards.

Old and hard to find. I bought a DSC-P3 camera that requires this stick for my son. He's 9 and doesn't need a fancy expensive camera. I bought that one since it is all metal and more rugged than newer cameras. It is also simpler and cheaper. The cost of this card sure added to the cost, but it works and he's happy.

I bought the Sony 128 MB Memory Stick (MSH-128) a few months ago, but I only used it once. When I was in my 20th picture, an error appeared in the screen of my Sony P100 camera:Error C:13:01, Memory Stick failedFirst, I went to Sony Service Center, but they didn't know what was happening. Then, I went to different Sony Stores, but the only answer they gave me was that my Memory Stick is failed, that it's impossible to fix or format it and, the worst, there is no way to save the pictures !!!!Finally, I tried to solved it by myself, and I "google" the C:13:01 error. If you do it, you will find hundreds of people with the same problem, looking for a solution.That's why I don't recommend this product. If all of us have the same problem, you can be the next.

I like this large capacity for my college lectures recording. (I think recording your lectures are essential if you are a college student because some crazy professors speak way too fast.) This memory stick converts to a large capacity that I dont have to worry about erasing stuffs for a while. Easy to handle and super light.I have used it for over a year and never had a problem. Again, never had a single problem with this cute little blue stick. Price is so adequate if you buy from Amazon.com.The only improvement I hope to see from Sony for this MSH series is that Sony should make some bigger capacity for MSH. At least up to 512MB or preferably 1GB. Unfortunately, I think Sony is turning more attention to MSX-Pro series which are not compatible to my digital voice recorder.Other than, it is flawless.My precise rating for this: 4.8 "A"

Just what I needed for my dated Sony camera. I was so happy to see that I was still able to obtain this Memory Stick as our camera is dated. Helped to make our trip absolutely perfect!! Great memories on the memory stick!
