Bought it. Used it a few times and it died. I reviewed we a replacement and used it a few times and now it's dead. So in two years I have had two break in my. These were not used in a shop, just at my house so I expected much more.

We use this in our shop and have used quite a bit already. The battery charger has an automatic shutdown when the battery is fully charged. We have had good luck so far. I would recommend this model.

This replaced a charger that I used for decades that died. I’ve only used my new charger once on a 5.4 Triton V8. The battery would only click when trying to start this motor. I set my new charger on 250 amp boost sat down in the drivers seat and the truck started right up with no hesitation. I continued charging the battery and the charger worked great. It’s easy to maneuver around and easy to operate. The LED screen can be hard to read in bright sunlight. That’s the only issue I’ve experienced with this charger. It will work great for home or business uses. The jumper cables and clamps are heavy duty and with plenty of length to reach most any battery.

Purchased a used unit - had a minor scratch on the side and one cable was had a cut in the rubber exposing the copper wire - simple electrical tape fix - $50 discount was well worth it for a quality battery charger with a strong 250amp boost. Would have rated a five but the charging cables should be longer - purchased for my 1 ton ram with dual batteries and needed the extra boost to jump start it. To get a bigger boost the commercial style chargers really take a big price increase after going past 250amps. Would call this charger somewhere between commercial and personal use charger. Features are simple and I kinda laughed about the safety feature protecting the charge and battery against hooking up backwards - though that was a stupid feature because who would do that - I’ve charged batteries for 25+ years and never did that - until yesterday lol.
