Easy to assemble, Soiled design, Safty is in its design with pins and locking bolts. If I was to buy the raw materials and build it myself I wouldn't be saving much. I think you will be very pleased with this product. I have had a few others look it over and they agree It is built to last and with a lot of thought in its design.

Easy to assemble if you are familiar with reading blueprints. The only directions are an exploded view of the rotisserie and a parts list. Both lift screws need to be lubed to prevent galling. I used anti-seize on the threads and that worked great. Good quality for the price as far as I'm concerned. Using this on a 1972 Nova that we are restoring. On larger vehicles I would recommend getting the larger 3k lb rotisserie. The Nova and Camaro are the largest cars to use the 2k rotisserie.

The instructions were just a exploded view of the rotisserie. The overall construction is good works as expected. The cross bar is a bit short for most cars, but is easily extended if needed.
