I haven't noticed any tarnishing yet, and the overall quality seems okay. However, the letter charm completely fell off and is now lost, which is disappointing since that was the main appeal of the necklace. The chain itself is still intact, and my boyfriend says it's very lightweight. I'm not sure it's worth the money, especially if the letter is likely to detach. I can't speak to the exact length, but overall, I'm not completely satisfied.
