Our child has been going through a growth spurt so we have been sizing up in just about everything. This jacket is one size bigger because we are not sure if the sizing would be off or if our child would go through another growth spurt. The jacket is a bit shorter than we thought considering the width. So we are not sure if this is supposed to be part of the new cropped top trend. The jacket itself is on the light side for a puff jacket, which works out great for our California winter weather. We can see this be a go to jacket for the colder months and possibly even work for a snow trip if we layer warm clothes underneath.We chose the “floral” design, but what arrived is actually silver polka dots, which we believe would be more versatile and timeless so our child might be able to wear it another season. The $60 original price point is expensive for what you get. Maybe the price is accounting for the brand label but the quality is not much better than what you find at most stores for a lower price. We see the price has lowered to $42 now, which is a better match for the quality.

The color of this jacket is really nice. My reason for 3 stars is because although the color matches perfectly - the torso is a bit too short while the sleeves are a bit too long on this jacket. Really unfortunate because the color is perfect and absolutely beautiful.

This GAP girls logo puffer is nicely lightweight yet warm enough for everyday fall and mild winter days. The quilting keeps fill in place, it moves well for play, and the finish sheds light drizzle. Fit runs true with room for a sweatshirt underneath, and the elastic cuffs help seal out drafts. Zipper tracks smoothly and the hand pockets are useful for gloves.It is not a deep-winter parka, so plan to layer in very cold temps. Expect it to pack down small for backpacks or cubbies. Care is simple. Wash cold, tumble low, and toss in a couple clean dryer balls to re-fluff. Bottom line: a comfy, practical puffer with classic GAP style that kids actually like to wear.
