Love this a lot! Better than my flat iron any day. This brush at least give you the volume vs a poker straight straightener does. It's perfect!

Being totally honest I have tried quite a few different versions of these types of “hot brushes” from various brands and I have not really been impressed with any of them…until now that is!This Paul Mitchell Neuro Sleek Smoothing Hot Brush is everything I wanted from a hot brush. The bristles are plastic and hard, but they don’t rip your hair out. You can get a somewhat sleek look by just brushing this from roots to ends like it’s a brush. Or you can get volume and even add a bit of a wave or flip if you go from underneath. The quality is great and it feels solidly made, and it helps a good deal with any frizz. It won’t get your hair as sleek as a hair straightener would, but that’s the point. You can achieve a more natural but still well kept and slightly polished look. Highly recommend!

I purchased another hot brush from Amazon about a year ago and while it worked fine, it would never glide through my hair easily. It took 2 - 3 passes to do what should have been done in 1. I had this in my cart for 2 months before I decided to go ahead and try it and now I'm mad that it took so long. It feels super sturdy and well made and heats up very quickly. It slides through my hair like butter and only takes 1 pass to straighten it like a dream. 10/10

This is a decent hot brush. It heats up quickly. It would be difficult to burn yourself with it due to the design.I put a couple products in my hair after getting out of the shower that make it a breeze to detangle. Because my hair is already so sleek and detangled, there really isn't any tension, so the brush just goes right through my hair. Due to this, it doesn't straighten as well as a flat iron. If I hold the ends of my hair and try to create more tension, then it works a bit better.I feel like for the price, the buttons and little dots to let you know what heat level you're set on are lacking. There could be a display. It's also easy to hit the buttons by accident, and since it's hard to tell what heat level you're on, you could change it accidentally.At this price point, you usually get some accessories like a silicone pad, travel bag, etc. This doesn't come with anything.I feel like I was slightly disappointed with this brush, given the price point. It works okay, but I think if I bought a hot brush for about half this price, I might get something pretty equivalent.

I have bought several hot brushes and this is by far the best one. I use it daily, but it takes a bit to heat all the way and I still have to use my straightener in parts.I have mobile issues so it is better than straightening all of my hair.

I have naturally wavy, thick hair so I have been using a flat iron for years and since getting this I have barely used my flat iron only for minor touch ups. Using this saves me a lot of time. The only thing is it gives my hair a little static so I just put a little product on my hair and that helps.
