Well-made styling brush.In my opinion, you got a fair bang for the buck because this is a quality brush, and quality brushes are expensive.If you are a professional, the handle feels very good in your hand, for hours of work.Although this appears to be geared for heavy or dense hair, it's been great styling my thin hair and allowing it to get some volume.

I have a couple Evo brushes, and this Evo Bruce is one of the better ones! It has very nice bristles that are not all one length which makes it easier to brush your hair. The handle is all wooden, and the wood is not completely finished. It still has a bit of grit to it, but not as much that it will give you splinters. It has this neat round thing at the bottom of the handle that you can pull out which is actually a hair pick. There are different bristles on this, both real boars hair and also nylon ones with pins on the end. Overall I do think it’s a bit overpriced but it’s still a nice brush!

Why does the Evo Spiked radial brush retail for so much? I have no idea. Ok, that is the last thing that I am going to say about the price of this brush. Now I will discuss what I like about this radial brush.-It comes in a nice box, which is great if you want to give it as a gift to a hair stylist.-The handle (wooden) is easy to hold while you style your hair. It is comfortable to hold too.-It is heat resistant, which is nice because you can use it when blow drying my hair without worrying about some of the parts melting. You can use this radial brush to provide some curl or body, but I will more than likely use mine for styling and smoothing.-The bristles (a combination of boar and nylon) provide some shine. The boar bristles are shorter than the nylon ones.Overall, this brush does what it is supposed to do. I just think for the price ($52), I should have more to say.

So it doesn’t advertise that it has plastic bristles as well as the bore. Which is unfortunate as I wanted pure wood handle and 100% bore bristles. But it has plastic also, but not advertised well.

I haven’t been to a salon in months and my hair is long, wild, curly, and flyaway. The salons and barbershops weren’t well-ventilated and I decided I prefer my hair longer. My hair was and is fairly wild and I need decent shampoo, conditioner, and equally decent brushes. My hair is fine, something this brush isn’t targeted to deal with, but it works great. A good brush gets rid of the tangles and settles my hair down.This brush is made of lightweight stained wood with an all-natural look. Plastic brushes are fine, but I my preference is for wood. The brush is ergonomically designed and easy to handle. The bed of the brush has boar and plastic bristles, which are great for massaging my scalp. Stray, loose hair I had on my scalp was pulled up into the bristles when I brushed.The basic tubular body of the brush, including the splayed bristles, is approximately 2” wide and 9-1/4” long. The handle of the brush, measured from the curve, is only 5” long. The working part of the handle is approximately1” wide and should be comfortable in most hands. My hair? It loved the brush and there was no pulling and I ended up with plenty of volume.The brush has the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification, which indicates the wood does come from a property maintained and well-managed forest. For those who are into eco-friendly products, this brush fits the desired criteria. The brush also included a wooden pik in the base of the handle for sectioning hair. This is a nice, innovative brush, albeit rather expensive for this type.

i thought this brush was going to be amazing and nice because it’s so expensive but like….it’s just….ok. i wouldn’t say the price is worth it and you’re better off saving your money for something more quality imo. i like the pick at the end of the handle to help remove lint and hair from the brush but that’s about it. the wood is stained and seems kinda cheap and too light, and the non boar hair bristles scratch my scalp in an unpleasant way that feels scratchy and hurts more than not. i gave away some of my brushes expecting these to be good but the cheaper ones i had were better 😩

I wanted to love this brush. It is eco friendly and beautiful to look at. The quality is wonderful. It is durable and strong. The issue was, it sort of hurts when I brush my hair. I don't have super thick hair so it ends up scratching my head so I can't really use it. Perhaps if my hair were thicker, this wouldn't be an issue.
