The pet dander filter is 100% worth the money. Specifically if your dog somehow manages to smell like Fritos the day after a bath, like mine! It’s super easy to install and ready to use in seconds. My parents used to always complain that the house smelled like my dog no matter how many baths he got, it was a daily conversation. So the Levoit Vital 200S Purifier was a gift from me to them, I bought the pet filter in addition and installed it instead of the filter it came with. After a few days of hearing no complaints from anyone (unheard of in my home) I can confidently say the filter is great at removing pet dander and smell. Functions exactly as it should. It’s also pretty heavy and sturdy, you can tell they packed this with a lot of filtration material.I’ve also noticed my dog who is chronically itchy because of allergies, who has been on every allergy med, every cream, topical steroids, the cone, antibiotics, all the works. Since installing this he has been itching and drooling less, as a result he’s not licking himself as much so he’s staying fresh a bit longer after his baths. His skin inflammation and flaking (that his vet confirmed was not from an infection) is noticeably better. He even sleeps right near the purifier most nights.I don’t know if it’s placebo, sorcery, or just a really thoughtful design made into a great product, but the filter and purifier have improved quality of life for my whole family, even my dog. It’s emotional to finally see him able to lay down and relax comfortably after the last few years of him being uncomfortable from his skin. He has significantly cut down on the itching, panting, licking, and biting himself. Along with no more complaints about the smell of dog, the smell of oil lingering after cooking, the sneezing and itchy eyes from pollen. This thing traps everything! It’s been running on high for a few weeks, all day and all night, and the filter life is still over 95%. A Levoit product has never disappointed me, no difference here. Great brand, great product.

Purchased this as a backup for my LEVOIT Vital 200S-P Air Purifier. Absolutely love this unit. Easy to use, easy to clean, the visual change in the air quality makes it easy to quickly up the fan speed to take care of the fumes/smoke/allergens. One the first level you can hardly tell its running, second level still is quiet, third level makes a little more white noise and the fourth a wee bit more. Nothing crazy and it cleans up a large space quickly...returning the colored notification back to a pretty blue. This works so wonderfully! Had something fall off (likely pie crust) that was stored in the cool oven. Pie gone, but when I placed a casserole in to cook...I noticed after a half hour, when I opened the oven door to take a peek...whew smoke bellowed out (nothing on fire) turned on the above range fan then quickly ran over to the LEVOIT which was already orange in the dining room, and cranked it up! Scooted back to scoop out the charred remains at the bottom of the oven, then returned casserole to finish. Within 10 minutes the colored ring had gone from orange to blue and back to normal. NO SMOKE ALARM went off! I was amazed because the hallway wasn't far from the LEVOIT. NOTE: Even though my 200S-P has Wi-Fi capabilities, I don't use that.

Gute Qualität, aber man kann den Filter auch "modden" und er wird erheblich effizienter. Habe mit ein Drahtgitter gekauft und daraus einen Zylinder gebaut und dann zwischen den Hohlraum des Filters und dem Drahtgeflecht bis fast ganz oben eine dicke Schicht (mehrere cm breit) Kokosfaseraktivkohle in kleiner Körnung gepackt. Der Filter hält dadurch doppelt bis dreifach so lange. Wichtig: Es sollte eine Coronamaskengewebe das sehr feinmaschig ist von der Unterseite über den eingebauten Ventilator mit Panzertape/Klebeband geklebt werden, das filtert auch kleine Partikel der Aktivkohle aus, damit der Ventilator und der Levoit als Ganzes lange "lebt". Und die Filteraussenseite regelmässig mit (Hand-)Staubsauger reinigen, dann hält er auch länger.

Needed a replacement for mine, this was the best way to replace it. Works as it needs to! Last a while and fits and performs as needed. Has helped me keep the place clean and fresh air.

I recently Added a Levoit Air Purifier to my 3D printing Room. These upgraded filters work quite well to help mitigate the air quality in my printing space. While these filters are a bit steep, they seem to be worth it, and completely eliminate any smells in the room, even more than the standard filter.

The Core 300-P is a great air filter for my needs. Perfect for my bedroom and RV. Just the right size to get the job done without taking up too much space or looking out of place. Had been looking for the Pet Specific filter replacement but was not finding them in stores. So glad to find them here. Great price and the filter is doing a great job keeping pet dander, as well as the dust from the litterbox, out of the air. The charcoal filter does the trick and keep the air smelling fresh. Also noticed a huge difference in air flow after changing the filter. Great air filtration unit and equally great replacement filter. I will only use the official manufacturer's filters from this point forward.
