This drink has excellent grapefruit flavor with balanced tang and sweetness. I like it. It doesn't taste so sugary sweet to me considering that the ingredients start with water, sugar, and high-fructose corn syrup. Ounce-for-ounce, calories seem on par with other sugar-sweetened drinks. I like that this drink includes vitamin C.The bottles are sturdy translucent plastic with a shape that's easy to hold. The lids are easy to open and close.The production date is printed on each bottle. The label states that it has a 9 month shelf life from that date. A sticker on the box includes the same production date along with the "best before" date.Each bottle includes a typical USA nutrition sticker.My rating doesn't judge it for having sugar and high-fructose corn syrup; I saw the ingredients before I ordered it. I like to mix about 5 oz with a 12-oz can of unsweetened carbonated beverage to get a reduced-calorie drink with a flavor boost.At about $2.93 USD per 15-oz bottle (as of this writing) -- plus a bottle deposit in some locations -- my rating judges it on price/value compared to other beverages I buy. I don't know how much the grapefruit juice and the vitamin C factor into the price. I don't know how much the price is affected from being a product of China distributed from Hong Kong.For those who enjoy sweetened grapefruit drinks, I can recommend this one based on flavor. The price is just too high for me to order them again.[Update: USA products often show a "best if used by" date. This imported product instead shows the production date on the bottle. The label states that the product has a 9 month shelf life beyond that. Consumers must do the math to determine when its 9 month shelf life is up. I don't know if showing the production date vs the "best by" date is customary in some countries. Per other reviews, it confuses some people in the USA who are accustomed to seeing expiration dates on the product. The product would benefit from including both dates on the bottle.]

Really nice grapefruit flavor. It’s quite sweet on its own, so I highly recommend drinking it with ice.We’ve found it’s the perfect drink for the family during the cold season—it really helps with sore throats and is an easy way to get some Vitamin C.

I really wanted to give this 3.5 stars; it tastes ok and although it may not be a favorite of mine, others may like it a lot. From what I can gather, this fruit is very popular in the Philippines, so if you have Filipino friends, you might want to have them give this a whirl. It's somewhat similar to limeade, but to me it tastes sweeter (I guess to some reviewers it might taste tart, but everyone's tastebuds are different.) I'd like to use it as an ingredient in some marinade recipes I've found online, but those seem to require 100% calamansi juice, and this is a drink (with added ingredients), not a juice. On a personal note, one thing my mom ingrained in my head is not to throw good food away. If you try it and find that it's not for you, please don't throw the rest of the case away. There are food banks and neighborhood no-buy groups that will be glad to take it off your hands. Thanks for reading this.
