Numerous attempts at warranty returns are ongoing. Will not replace bulb after it stopped commicating with my Echo Plus. It was working well for about five months then stopped. I’m not able to use this bulb in my automation or reconnect to it. Customer services wants to troubleshoot bulb from where they are? Huh? Just replace the bulb. They don’t want it? Amazon please help me. It’s still within the two year warranty window. Just just purchased it on 6/16/2020. Anybody else having issues. Customer service for Philips is really terrible. Still on hold for the tenth time in two days.

This bulb will work with Alexa without the HUE BRIDGE, but the controls are definitely NOT as good as with the HUE app. This was a freebee along with an Echo Plus gen II on sale I purchased, so it didn't cost anything. You have about 5 color choice changes but no colorwheel adjustability in Alexa. You get dimming, on/off and the 5 color settings. I would not purchase this on it's own and don't see the need to have yet another "bridge" adapter network in the house just to have better controls over HUE lighting products, it's already older tech that has been eclipsed by wifi only tech. There are other as good and better bulbs out there that don't require its own hub to have controlablity.

What can I say. This is a pretty basic smart bulb. It integrated easily with Alexa. I put this bulb in the can above our stairwell so we could control it independently of others. This is not a colored bulb, but with the app, I was able to adjust the hue and intensity of the bulb to match the others. This is a very nice and unexpected feature.

I've been slowly replacing the bulbs in my house with Hue. The white ambiance bulbs are great in our bedroom with a wide range of white from warm and relaxing to very bright white. The functionality and features of the Hue system are amazing.

I bought a “used” bulb that supposedly was in great condition with small damage to packaging. Item arrived looking in perfect condition & initially connected fine. However when I tried to set it to a routine, I realized that I must have been sent a faulty bulb because it did not show as dimmable in my alexa or hue apps. I checked the model numbers on the box and bulb itself and they were the same. The box promoted that it was dimmable with the proper hue accessories (which I have). When asking Alexa to dim the lights, she stated that this item does not support that feature. Also random thing I noticed when looking at the bulb... the bulb itself says “suitable for damp locations”, however the manual & box say that it is not suitable for damp location a such as bathrooms . So i’m a bit confused. Sending it back and asking for a replacement and hoping this one works fine.

I originally bought sengled bulbs not knowing I needed a hub. I chose to get Echo plus which came with this Phillips bulb. I chose to put this bulb in my living room. Mine has so far stay connected to Alexa and I haven’t had a problem there. It lights up my living room nicely and I’m able to control it by voice with Alexa. I want to try the multicolor lights I’ve seen. I originally thought this was a warm/yellowish light. Turns out you can change that to white light! Very cool! You can also ask Alexa to dim the light or make it brighter

Increible luz inteligente que funciona con Alexa y Google Home. La califico con 5 porque no puedo ponerle 4.5 y no se merece un 4. La luz es equivalente a un foco incandescente de 60w, lo cual es relativamente poco pero suficiente para una habitación. Hasta el momento (septiembre 2018) no han lanzado la actualización que permitirá grabar un color e intensidad fijas y usarlo como foco normal que siempre prenda y apague en el mismo color. Aunque si lo usas con Alexa o Home, nunca lo vas a apagar del interruptor de pared.
