1st time ever getting Smart Bulbs. I actually ended up getting a 2nd set. Doesn't need a hub and comes with a remote. I really like the different light modes, especially the one setting where the lights are red and sporadically turn off and on like in a 90 horror flick. The modes definitely can inspire some really cool light modes come holiday season. They definitely get really bright on the natural default settings (either warm or cool lights) and they seem responsive enough.The issue I have with them sometimes is the app will sometimes have issues connecting to the lights if ever there's a power failure or ,if for whatever reason my router goes out (thanks Verizon), it just has a bit of a hard time reconnecting to those lights again. Also, the widget you use on a iphone can only go in the very left main window where they have those rows of widgets (as of iPhone OS 15+) instead of any main window.Besides that, as long as you have pretty decent wifi connection, using the app with these lights are fine. Added bonus that you can also use the remote without wifi to control the lights as well. And the inital installation is pretty straightforward.Great smart bulb starter kit for those apprehensive on getting on the Smart Home train. And it supports Alexa

I wanted something to wake me up at alarm time that slowly lit my room in the dark morning of winter. I looked into those sunrise alarms and not one had stellar reviews, didn't require subscriptions or didn't come with 18 bells and whistles I didn't need. In the words of Gru, "light bulb", literally. Why not try just a light bulb to wake me up and keep my regular alarm which I have no problem with. This thing works like a charm and I am in love! App is easy, stays connected, and I set it for Monday through Friday when I am supposed to wake up for a gradual sunrise and over the course of 15 minutes, it's slowly illuminates my room waking me up. Best product ever for $10!

I am changing my review to 5 stars because these lights are quite nice. I originally received my pack of 3 bulbs with 1 broken bulb; however, their customer support responded within a day and I had a replacement bulb sent to me within a couple of days. The replacement bulb seems to be a newer model (the packaging had gold lettering, whereas the original box of 3 had green lettering) and shines slightly brighter; however, the difference is minimal and isn't a huge concern.The lights are very easy to set up, and they have a variety of color settings. The "main" light as I like to call it, comes with a "cool" white color, and a "warm" white color, much like you'd think of your phone screen. The warm is perfect for night time settings, and the cooler color is perfect for the day. The white color is very bright; however, they can be dimmed which is extremely convenient. There is also a wheel on a separate tab so you can determine how "warm" you want the white to be, if you'd rather not use the 2 settings that are given on the main color wheel tab.The color wheel of lights is amazing. There is so much customization you can do with it, and I love it. The colors aren't as bright as the white's; but again, I have no problems with this. I don't mind the dimmer colors, it helps set a relaxing but fun mood. It is perfect for when I want to play video games or watch Netflix.I find the app very user friendly. I've read some reviews that say it's confusing, but the instructions are very well laid out and are quite clear. There are many different options I have not tried yet, such as music and other timers on the app, but the lights are great and they have many options.My only hope is that they last a long time, and if so, then this would be one of my favorite purchase. Time will tell for their longevity, but for now, I am very impressed and would highly recommend these lights!

Fáciles de sincronizar con su aplicación y luego de incorporan a Alexa. Aunque la recomendación es no apagarlas por el interruptor porque en algunas ocasiones se desconfiguran. La función de la aplicación para que lleven el ritmo de la música si funciona :D
