The mini pc case is too small to fit an HDD. What should I do?
There is a knock-out opening at the bottom that allows you to mount the HDD outside the case.
What is the maximum memory and storage capacity that can be expanded?
The J6413 4L has 2 x SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 64 GB (2 x 32 GB), with 2 x NVMe + 2 x SATA 3.0.
To install 4 hard drives simultaneously, the power supply needs to be upgraded to 12V 5A 55*25.
Where can the BIOS file be found?
If the device is working stably, there is no need to upgrade the BIOS. If needed, please let us know.
Is the J6413 compatible with Sophos systems?
The J6413 does not support the direct installation of Sophos. You can install it in a PVE environment.

Absolutely Brilliant OPNsense Firewall Box – Fast, Silent, Rock Solid (I Love It!)

I bought this Glovary J6413 Firewall Mini PC specifically to run OPNsense, and I honestly couldn’t be happier, it’s been one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my home network. Setup was straightforward, and OPNsense runs flawlessly on this hardware.Performance is excellent. The Intel J6413 handles everything I throw at it with ease, and the 4 × Intel i226V 2.5GbE NICs are fantastic, stable, fast, and perfect for proper routing and segmentation. Since installing it, my network feels faster and more responsive, and overall stability has been rock solid.The fact that it’s fanless is a huge win. It runs silent 24/7, with no annoying noise, no rattling fans, and no overheating issues. It feels like proper enterprise-style kit in a home-friendly package.The included 8GB DDR4 + 128GB SSD is a great starting point and more than enough for OPNsense (even with additional services and logging enabled). Also love the expandability: NVMe slots + SATA support gives it loads of future flexibility. AES-NI support is a bonus too for security/VPN performance.If you’re considering an OPNsense firewall for your home or small office, this box is perfect.
