My first impression is it's compact, cool. Then I started trying to attach the main two items I bought it for which is my modem and router, I realize this is going to be difficult. I find the placement of the outlets on the back are so close it's make difficult to plug both devices into an outlet in the battery back up side. Not to mention the bottom plug is longer than the case (see Picture.) Also, the verdict is still out as to whether or not it make it to a full charge, so far it's only hitting on about 80%. Right now three stars are all I'm giving this backup. If the battery makes a full charge within the next 24hrs, I will update and upgrade rating.06 November 2023 - Well its been a little over six months and this UPS is still working great. Therefore my rating must change to reflect its proficiency. I will update should it anything before the first year mark.

This thing works pretty well when using it for a backup device for a single surveillance camera system... If it worked... The one I have beeps often when I try to go to sleep. Most often when a Jet or airplane fly's over head. In my last apartment it would beep sometimes 3-4 times randomly in a row signaling that the device lost power even though everything else in the apartment was fine and running. IDK if I got a faulty one or not though I doubt it. .I've been having someone attacking my other device from a different company too. With it beeping at different times than this one even though they were plugged into the same fuse. I think honestly the military or someone is using these devices to boop at people they don't want to sleep. Maybe it's Amazon company itself, maybe it's the FBI, CIA.. China, Military projects. IDK. I live on government assistance so maybe these ppl target me for that.. This thing beeps at me often when I try to fall asleep and it gotten so annoying I'm writing this. I think the same people who use it to beep at me when I try to fall asleep use it to turn off the security camera I bought it for because I've never caught the people who break into my apartment and mess with me on camera. Definitely not paranoid just another reason you might hear about crazy people pointing lasers at planes. It might only be a coincidence if it happened once... It happens all the time to me and it's been going on for over 3 years now. I guess that's what the government does to people who are on assistance that they want off. dead or walking zombies. Well lets see if Amazon posts this review....

I ue this to power my modem so that I do not lose internet during a short power outage. Works fine. I wish I could turn off the beeping when there is no power, but not a big deal. I've been using it for many months.

I’ve been using this SKE 600VA UPS for 18+ months. It reliably protects my computer and router from surges and outages. The battery has started to lose a bit of runtime, but it’s easy and cheap (~$20) to replace, which will make it like new again. For the price I paid in 2023 ($55.99), it was a solid deal.

I really wanted to like this UPS since it worked well initially, but I'm pretty disappointed with how it turned out. For about a year, it did exactly what I needed - kept my computer protected and running during power hiccups.Unfortunately, it completely died after roughly 12 months of use. That's way too short a lifespan for something that's supposed to protect your expensive electronics. I expected much better durability, especially since UPS units should be built to last for years, not just one.While the 600VA/360W capacity was adequate for my setup when it was working, the reliability just isn't there. It's frustrating to invest in surge protection and battery backup only to have the unit itself become the point of failure.I can't recommend this particular model based on my experience. For the price point, you should be able to count on at least several years of reliable service. Save yourself the headache and look for a more dependable option.
