This computer is very operational. Slightly heavier than anticipated, but not a real problem. The basic functions run well. The only reason for 4 stars is the condition upon arrival. While I expected some cosmetic problems, actual damage to the USB port was not. I needed to make minor repairs to make the port usable.

UPDATE 2: Unit still works perfectly. *However*, the charging cord no longer works anymore. I think next time I'll go with a different brand and new rather than refurbished.UPDATE: Seller replaced the unit with one that works perfectly. This is exactly what we needed for my son! Very intuitive. The graphics are nice. Tablet mode works great. Seller sent the replacement by 2-day air and paid for us to send back the defective unit.I got this for my middle school son for schoolwork, specifically, so he could use it in tablet mode. It works only as a standard laptop however. The x-y axis on the touchscreen is inverted, rendering the touchscreen and all modes dependent on it, useless.

My last laptop was a Windows HP (some 2015 model) and it was slow beyond recognition. I needed a new laptop badly, I wanted a MacBook, but... Ya know ($$$), so my friend told me to settle for a Chromebook for now, and boy am I happy! It's lightning fast, the screen is just the perfect size (15" was too big and a 13" was too small), and the touch screen is simply amazing! Plus, I get a lot more work done with speech texting, so I'm not always typing everything! Well worth every penny! ❤️
