Battery life:Battery life is ok not as long as I'm thought but it's good Buttons:The button is good Just hold it down for a few seconds and go to what speaker you want to hook up and it should connect itStatic level:No static at all Bluetooth connectivity:Quick and fast and good plug in play I would buy another one

As a Receiver:I connected the C25 to my home stereo and beamed music to it from my phone over bluetooth.I expected a cheap device like this to have some low background hum, or hiss or even static, insteadit produced clear CD quality sound!I sampled some hip hop and it had thunderous bass, then some soprano Sarah Brightman which produced crystal clear vocals.Second test as a receiver: I connected it to the aux-in on my car radio. I played music from my phone while also running google maps. All sounds were clear as day, as the phone automatically dimmed the music when directions where being spoken. I also asked someone to call me in the car, and he said the audio was clear and could hear everything I said.When you turn on the device it immediately pairs with the phone every time.As a Transmitter:To simulate watching a movie on an airplane, I connected the C25 to an old mp3 device with an earphone jack.Then paired the C25 to my wireless noise cancelling ear buds.Again, the sound was CD quality. So now I look forward to using noise cancelling ear buds on a plane instead of using the wired earphones they hand out.Note, the instructions on how to pair the C25 to wireless ear buds is no use. You cannot simply hold the device next to your ear buds and expect it to pair.Here is what worked for me:First, I paired the Sony ear buds to my phone.Then I paired the C25 to my phone.Then I opened the Sony Headphones app on the phone.Under the Status tab, click the option to allow it to pair to multiple devices.With the C25 turned on in the Transmitter mode, it showed up in the Sony app as an available device.I selected it and it connected the ear buds to the C25.Overall, pleasantly surprised that this small $16 device can perform so well.
