Neat, compact, good quality visual and audio transmission between devices

These are much smaller and neater than expected, cute little round matching transmitter and receiver (each is about the size of a medium but chunky chocolate-covered biscuit!), complete with 2 HDMI cables, 2 USBC charging cables, and mini and micro USB adaptors, all in one solid box. They took my (adult) son only a couple of minutes to set up, following the on-screen instructions which popped up on my his monitor. He was able to transmit a TV programme across the same room without using a dangling HDMI cable, then walking around the house from the next room, and from the upstairs front bedroom to the downstairs back dining room. The resolution is good, there was no interference and no lag between the two. We haven't tried transmitting across 4 devices in different rooms, but just transmitting to one device has both husband and son very excited about the possibilities! They would be very useful for meetings, giving talks transmitting from a laptop to a larger screen or for use at home transmitting from a laptop to the family TV screen, or even for watching a family film in the garden! My 'tech team' (husband and son) are very happy with this neat, easy to set up and very effective transmitter kit.

Not Quite What I Was After...

I initially got this hoping to stream videos from my phone to my TV or projector, but it seems that’s not what it’s designed for. However, I did manage to use it to stream my laptop to my projector, which worked well and helped keep my setup tidy without cables everywhere. Would have been nice if it worked with my phone, but it’s still useful for other setups.

I thought these devices were going to be a bit of a faff to get working - I expected to be finding and installing apps, entering network settings and the like, pairing things with other things and then trying to get everything to speak to each other. Not the case as it turns out.After attaching the antenna and powering them up and making sure your source is playing into the TX one and any RX are plugged into screens things pretty much happen without any dramas.The main reason I ordered the kit is to broadcast the signal from my blu-ray player (that is wired into my stereo) througout the house so I can watch videos in one of the other rooms. I set everything up and I have to say I am very happy with the results - there isnt any noticable difference between the quality of the pictures in any of the rooms so thats a success. I'm not aufais with the whole technical resolution thing so I dont know if the stated figures are correct - I believe that if you are transmitting the output of a laptop or computer you may have to set the resolution to be compatible with the transmitter, but I dont know whether that is actually the case.There is an app available to download which allows you to alter the channels of the transmitter and receivers which I guess is handy but you can also view what is being transmitted on whatever devices you have the app downloaded on so you can have TVs and phones and tablets all on at onceThis is a great little kit, it isn't cheap but it is very useful and most importantly (to me at least) easy to set up.

This was a 1 star review based on substantial problems with a product that appears to have a more limited range than the 1 receiver model I had purchased for personal use. This was discovered when we tried to deploy the 4 receiver unit. Unfortunately for us events delayed our use until a few days after the Amazon return period expired. Hence the expensive unpleasant October surprise.The mitigation came when the vendor, who believing in their product offered us a refund; even though they were no longer required to do so. Kudos for that.----------------------------------------------------------------------Initial reviewPlease bear with me for the length of this, it will take a bit to explain the problems.I recently moved my main home computer from the basement to an unused bedroom, not fully wired for cable TV. Being lazy I found the 1 TX - 1 RX version of this product and purchased it. Works fantastically mirrors cable tv from a set 45' away through two interior walls and I can give that version a 5 star rating. This success also led to the problem.First purchased version: the Antenna Dongle model as it came with FIXED HDMI connections to the TX/RX modules and two usb-c cables. The usb-c cable for the RX unit had a 2' wire connecting to an antenna dongle approximately 1"x3"x1/4".The 1 TX - 4 RX model: the FlexTenna version shown in the product order page. Both the RX and TX units have screw on antennas, HDMI sockets and come with USB-c power cables and 6" removable HDMI cables.My volunteer fire company wanted to replicate dispatch information displayed by a pc on a large monitor in the apparatus bay to other parts of the station, but in a 75 year old building pulling HDMI cable is both daunting, expensive and messy. Having a stroke of "hey if this works great at home, lets test it at the station".Testing reception with my Antenna Dongle TX - RX modules, every where we wanted to place a monitor the picture received was flawless and the max distances very consistent with those advertised.Unfortunately, we waited beyond 30 days to open and set up the 1 TX - 4 RX repeater modules. Apparently the new 6" HDMI cables are not compatible with all monitors and no signal reached the test display which remained completely blank. Using a general run of the mill spare HDMI cable the setup screen magically appeared! Connecting the new TX unit with a working HDMI cable to the PC and off to the first new monitor location connecting an RX module up with a good HDMI cable and OOOOPSS, a NO HDMI INPUT message in the upper right hand corner. The FlexTenna version did not work. We tried all RX units still no HDMI input.Exasperated I went home got my Antenna Dongle version and everything worked with the new monitor.It appears the 4 RX version does not work as well as the old 1 RX version, and exceeding the return window we are now stuck with a useless expensive item.

Very easy to set up, no lag on picture or sound.

At last, a reliable HDMI transmitter and receiver that works through walls without lag or cutting out, and on top of that it is super easy to set up. I have the transmitter in the living room and the receiver in the bedroom, the bedroom TV is older and not a smart TV. Setting up was extremely easy, more or less plug and play, I really like that I can cast from my mobile phone to the receiver too. I use an android phone and downloaded the RScreen app from the Aimibo web site, I scanned the APK and it is safe. The instructions from the app to set up your phone is easy. Both the receiver and transmitter are nice and small, if the blue light annoys you just turn it round. You get adapters for mini and micro-HDMI included, as well as the USB cables for powering and the HDMI cables, I would have liked the HDMI cables to be a bit longer, but it is easy enough to use your own cables if necessary. I guess there are other products that do similar at a lower cost but nothing I have seen is as easy as using these, and they work well with no fuss.

This item is truly plug and play. Out of the box and installed video was playing. My concern was transmission through walls, it transmits to the second floor from the first floor with no problem.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this Tx&RX pair along with 3 additional receivers and tested the functionality of streaming to 4 screens simultaneously. The setup and pairing was straightforward and reliable, each screen connected within 15 seconds and reconnected reliably multiple times afterwards. A solid image, virtually no latency and no flicker or stuttering of the image. I am pleasantly surprised at how well it works, since I have been looking for an affordable solution with this capability for 10 years. So refreshing to actually use a product that does everything that is advertised - well done. Here are a couple videos - the vertical one is from Laptop to external screen (not far away because I wanted to test the latency between the screens. The second one includes the streaming display on my iphone 13 using the free app. Both work very well - no complaints. The photo is streaming to 2 external screens plus my iphone.
