( The mounting brackets are plastic and the housing seems "light")*Not rechargeable.If you are looking for a functional bargain powered speaker for your patio, gazebo or garage but don't want to invest $200, these will work just fine.I bought these because I wanted speakers that were ready whenever I want to listen to music in my patio without needing to recharge or needing to look for them.I also own a pair of Skullcandy Kilo reachable Bluetooth (Also weather resistant) that sound much better. They cost about the same and you can hang them in your patio on a hook.

Some other reviewers I think are expecting class-leading sound and power at this size and price, but for anyone with more realistic expectations this is exactly what they might be hoping for. Very simple to use, just plug in the 12V power adapter, search for the Bluetooth device, and boom you’re ready to go. There’s no onboard volume, it’s all controlled by your phone’s Bluetooth volume. At the highest level it sounds just a bit clippy/boomy, but it’s better than other budget speakers I’be used, and just a click or two down from max that goes away. I wouldn’t use these for large areas, but for a patio or small yard they’re great. I wired an inline switch to easily turn them on and off, and am happy to report that so far every time I power them back on they immediately reconnect with my phone.My only gripe is that the barrel jack input they use for power input is not a common style. I had hoped to use another 12V adapter I had with the switch already inline, but it wouldn’t fit. Then I tested 2 other 12V supplies just to check, and those didn’t fit either. So that limits the device’s versatility for power a bit, but it’s not a huge deal.Overall very satisfied so far, but time will be the real test of durability and reliability, so I’ll update if they ever give me any issues.

Bought these for outside patio area and they are terrific! Easily mounted to back of house, and connect to Bluetooth either through the television or phone for music. The sound quality is excellent and we have been impressed with how well they sound and look for such a good price

Are these a premium speaker? No, and the are not pretending to be. But, for the money and the simplicity. These speaker's are really good. I mounted them in my covered deck/patio they provide good reliable sound and connect to my Android phone with ease, no problems. If you're interested in a house party sound...nope,thats not what I wanted or expected. Quite happy, I have been using them a couple times a day pretty regularly. I plan to leave them up year round in Michigan. We'll see if they continue to impress.

The media could not be loaded. Excellent speakers for the money. Work right out of the box. Easy to connect to and quite good quality for the price.
