Excellent flash for what it is designed: a very nice replacement for the discontinued Nikon SB-400 mini flash. The attached photos are with a NikonZ5ii with a VR 24-85 3.5-4.5 G lens via the Viltrox FTZ adapter, top two are at 42mm, Nikon then Viltrox then the at the bottom Viltrox at 24mm to show the light falloff (Nikon's is similar). One difference to note is the Nikon has cooler and I think more accurate color in this situation.Nikon can tilt, but the Viltrox has the slave mode built in, and manual capability. Viltrox bumps backward more than the Nikon, not a big deal, but the ready light is on the side rather than the back in case you need to look. Just takes some getting used to is all. I use Eneloops for the Nikon and Viltrox of course has the built in battery, I've yet to have to recharge it since taking it out of the box. Both flashes are completely compatible with TTL on the Z5ii and D600.Overall this is an excellent flash, a very sensible and user friendly miniature flash for your Nikon.

Exactly as described, arrived new and in excellent packaging. Very good output for a compact flash, pairs well with my Nikon Z30 backup camera. Haven't tried it yet with my Z5 II. Only wish I had known it does not include a USB-C charging cable - had to run out and pick up one of those.
