I was going back and forth between this camera and another one. I got this because I can talk to my kids through the camera. Easy to use and set up and I went with the subscription on the app too. Good quality video and I can scan/pan the camera around the room.

This is a nice indoor camera. I use it to monitor my dogs while Im out and I like how easy it is to set up and connect to the network. I use Tapo for my outdoor cameras as well and the use of the app and features it offers are great.

With a micro SD card, this camera does not require the Cloud. It needs to be plugged in, is not wireless. Have been using it in the patio garden to see what is going on out there at night. Opossum was not interested, but the bunnies come up to look into it's eyes!! Probably would not use it in rainy weather or when the sprinklers are set to run. I like that I can pan the area or adjust the angle from my phone inside. It is meant to be sitting on its base on a flat surface, not screwed into any mounting bracket.
