The sole wears out incredibly fast and develops thin spots and even holes. This is the second pair I have bought and the same thing has happened. For any boot but especially this price tag and what I thought was a high quality boot, this is unacceptable. In the picture, the two orange parts at the heel are about to break through.

So cute and cozy for my 18 month old! She normally wears a size 4 but will probably size up soon. I bought size 5 and they work well so I agree that sizing up is a good idea. She seems to really like them and can walk in them easily.
